For the second time in three years, Linfield claimed the overall Grand Prize in the Intercollegiate Wine Business Invitational.
The competition pits teams of wine and hospitality students from universities around the world against each other. Students developed a wine brand, designed a custom label and wrote a business plan with financials that included cost of goods, marketing and sales strategies.
Linfield’s winning entry, Pandomônio Cellars, is a 60-40 blend of a pinot noir and Castelão, a Portuguese variety.
