It was truly One Wild Day in early May, when approximately 1,000 donors raised nearly $600,000 on Linfield’s sixth annual giving day. These gifts are already making a difference: Six sport management students volunteered to work at the U.S. Olympic Track and Field Trials in Eugene, with donations covering travel expenses and an Airbnb. Instead of paying out-of-pocket, 82 nursing students will receive complimentary stethoscopes and blood pressure cuffs at orientation in August. And five Linfield students in the College of Arts and Sciences will receive financial help traveling to conferences, completing creative or research projects or studying abroad this academic year.
