Rybar claims multiple All-America honors

Linfield linebacker Blake Rybar ’23 capped a standout season by claiming first-team All-America honors from the American Football Coaches Association along with second-team honors from The Associated Press and fourth-team honors from D3football.com. It is the second consecutive year he has been named a D3football.com All-American.

The senior from Monroe, Washington, accounted for 46 tackles, 3.5 sacks, 6.5 tackles for loss and an interception in the 2023 season. He was named Northwest Conference Defensive Player of the Year in back-to-back years.

Punter Thomas Tabor ’23 from Seattle was also named D3football.com fourth-team All-American.

At least one Wildcat football player has been named an All-American in every season since 2007.
