The Wildcat men’s golf team led the conference championships after day one, but slipped to third place on the final day of competition.
Douglas Bailey ’27 and Riley Lynch ’24 tied for fourth place with a two-day tally of 148 (+6). Trevor Price ’24 finished tied for 11th place with a total of 150 (+8). Jacob Smissen ’24 tied for 20th with a score of 154 (+12) to round out the Linfield tally.
Bailey earned first team All-Northwest Conference honors, while Lynch and Smissen were accorded second team All-NWC recognition.
The NWC Championship Tournament counted 50 percent toward determining the final 2023-24 conference point standings. Linfield finished fourth in the overall standings, which also included results from the NWC Fall Classic and the NWC Spring Classic.
