Terry Durham ’67 of Beaverton was inducted into the Oregon Sports Hall of Fame in July 2022, in recognition of his 24-season career officiating games in the NBA.
Garlinn (Hansen) Story ’69 of Sandy Springs, Georgia, was the recipient of Linfield University’s 2022 Alumni Service Award.

Ben Gutierrez ’83 of Honolulu, Hawaii, received two regional Emmy® awards from the San Francisco/Northern California chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences. He was the weather anchor for Hawaii News Now’s coverage of flooding, with the awards for Best Daytime Newscast-Medium Markets and Best Evening Newscast-Medium Markets. Awards were given on June 11, 2022, in ceremonies in San Francisco.
