Linfield is taking student well-being to a whole new (and furry) level! Students on the Portland and McMinnville campuses have come to expect visits from a wide range of animals during stressful times of the academic year, including mid-terms and Finals Week.
The Associated Students of Linfield University-Portland Campus (ASLU-PC) and Portland Student Life hosted a herd of eight-day-old baby goats during mid-terms and the ever-popular Mountain Peaks Therapy Llamas and Alpacas in December.
McMinnville students were able to de-stress at “PAWS to Relax,” featuring therapy dogs in Fred Meyer Lounge. These furry companions were regulars on campus, coming in both October and December 2022. The events were sponsored by Student Health, Wellness and Counseling.
