The students have spoken, and the Associated Students of Linfield University (ASLU) have new leaders for the academic year.
Emma Campbell ’24, a mathematics and political science major from Ketchikan, Alaska, was voted president for the McMinnville campus. Preslie Petrick ’24, an education and political science major from North Plains, is vice president. In a collaborative twist, Campbell is founder and president of the College Republicans, while Petrick served as vice president of the Democrats club for the last two years.
The Portland campus also elected new leadership for ASLU-PC. Diego Sabio Paese ’23, a nursing major from Menlo Park, California, will serve as president, and Dani Carillo ’23, a nursing major from Sherwood, will serve as vice president.
