Meg Angier ’21 and Matt Metcalf ’22 earned All-America honors by being top finishers at the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships in May.
Angier, an environmental policy major from Beaverton, placed fourth overall in the women’s pole vault with a jump of 12 feet, 3½ inches. She is the fourth NCAA All-American from Linfield in the women’s pole vault, joining national champions Catherine Street ’12 (2012) and Olivia McDaniel ’18 (2019), as well as eighth-place finisher Misty Corwin ’12 (2011-12).
Metcalf, a management major from Eugene, produced a toss of 194 feet, 11¾ inches to earn a fifth-place finish in javelin.
