The new and renovated spaces in the Linfield University Science Complex highlight a collaborative and integrated approach to science education. Here are just a few of the interesting new spaces.

Faculty/Student Research Lab
This innovative space incorporates a large research area, as well as five smaller collaboration rooms. Large windows on either side of the space allow for passersby to watch the student-faculty collaborative research projects from a wide range of disciplines.
Classrooms (Graf 111, 115, 117)
Graf 111, the Evenstad Wine Classroom, and its two adjoining classrooms are separated by walls that can fold up into the ceiling to create larger spaces. When fully combined, the space holds up to 120 people. An attached support kitchen allows for easy cleaning of wine education supplies and for ease of catering when the classrooms are used together as an event space.
Evenstad Wine Laboratory
The Evenstad Wine Laboratory brings Linfield’s interdisciplinary wine studies program into the heart of the science complex and campus. The lab features an increased capacity research space, fermentation vats and a large, walk-in cooler. es and for ease of catering when the classrooms are used together as an event space.
Lecture Hall
The existing auditorium in Graf Hall was gutted and refurbished. New state-of-the-art AV and educational technology was added, and accessibility updates make the lecture hall more inclusive for a wider variety of learners.
Inorganic Chemistry Lab
Hoods located in this lab have glass on three sides to allow students and instructors to see through the hood. These stations are used in larger-capacity rooms to allow faculty to observe and interact more easily with higher numbers of students.
Keck Main Lobby
The main lobby truly brings the beauty of the McMinnville campus inside the building. Floor-to-ceiling windows open the new space to the academic and social center of campus. A lofted student study area boasting wooden accents and comfortable furniture opens to the lobby below and offers views of Pioneer Hall.
