In June 2022, Forbes Magazine took a post-pandemic look at the financial health of 905 private colleges and universities in the nation and found Linfield in the top 20%. Forbes listed Linfield as No. 2 among private colleges in Oregon and No. 2 among Northwest Conference schools on its 2022 Financial Grades index. The publication looked at institutions’ endowments, reserves, debt loads and operating margin, among other measures.
